Billing Conversion Software Developer
Job Purpose
Software development to convert clients and their data coming from other OSS/Billing systems into our OSS named eLation for successful deployments
Location
This position will be full-time in Mitchell, SD Remote work will NOT be considered for this position.
Responsibilities (including, but are not limited to):
- Create software to process and convert data from legacy vendor systems into our OSS, eLation using Microsoft Visual Studio & C# as well as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Test created software by verifying required functionality, checking data robustness and accuracy, and proposing improvements to our processes
- Coordinate and communicate with fellow developers, support staff, and clients throughout the development cycle to ensure the data conversion meets requirements and expectations of all involved
- Accurately track development time and tasks with use of eLation timesheet app to track time allocations and the use of Microsoft DevOps to properly update your current project status and state of each current task
- Communicate any roadblocks to the team timeline to allow the team leader to adapt and re-shift priorities and team resources when needed

Bachelor’s degree in computer science required, experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and C# as well as Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
